It´s amazing that it´s half way to the pups are ready to leave for their new homes! They spend a little time outdoors every day now. Short time but twice a day. The wheather is fine so it´s really nice to be able to keep the puppies outdoors. Tosca feeds them regulary and the still lick a little at thier Starter Mousse, but not too keen on eating themselfs yet.

 

Yesterday we had "proper" photo of them, trying to stand them on a table. Not easy, as they move like mercury!! But you can see some of our efforts here.

Today it´s time for the second deworming, 12 days since first time. They still didn´t like the taste of the paste, but they get over it. I extended their space in the puppy room, and removed the black carpet I had there. It was easier for them to stand without slip on the floor, but now they are more steady. They climb not, up and down in their baskets and beds. Also in and out of the whelping box in full speed. They are so good using the newspapers as toilet, and Tosca is as fast as ever to clean up after them.

She likes to spend more time with us now, and that´s a natural way of raising them of course. I will spend some time next week to put together a little folder for each puppy with advice and facts. Also some photos of each puppy growing up. Hope it will be a nice little present for the new owners.

This afternoon Fanny who helps us with the dogs, came with some young friends to see the pups. An excellent experience for the small puppies to get use to other people than us. They show great interest in everything an listens well on my voice. When they start to eat themselfs, I will connect every feeding occasion with a double vissle signal, so they will know the sign for coming. It´s so much easier to train "come" that way.
